She even taught me some Thai phrases, which I tried my best to learn. What impressed me the most was how curious and open she was about my culture. After months of talking, we finally decided to meet in person in Bangkok. Honestly, it was magical, walking the streets of the city together, sharing local food and laughs. She’s not only my girlfriend but my best friend. I feel so lucky that I took that chance. Our relationship feels real and strong, and I’m excited about our future together.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I started talking to my fiancée from Ukraine because, to be honest, I kinda thought they were out of my league, you know, how well-groomed and versatile they are. But man, I’m really glad I did a try. We started talking with my girlfriend from Manila casually online, but her sincerity and kindness stood out immediately. Now, instead of bringing her to Canada, I’m planning to move to the Philippines to be closer to her family and enjoy the lifestyle and weather. I’ll be honest—I was hesitant about dating someone from Japan because I thought our cultures were so different from what I saw in the media. I wasn’t even fond of anime, and I don’t eat seafood.
